Notes

Schema METS2

• Karin identified items that need to be fixed
• We agreed that specific references to section 4 regarding the mechanisms of ID/IDREFS in XML should be removed rather than updated.

LoC homepage updates

• Karin prepared drafts modifications for the website. While many of the changes originate from MET2 discussions, part of the modifications would address both outdated content as well as improve navigation in general.
• Need to agree on scope of the update first.

Primer

• Juha updated the specific pages on metadata. The option to show/hide example content is very welcome.
• Needs to be merged again with further restructuring done by Aaron.
• Aaron will start looking into applying publication themes, simliar to what SAA has done.
• Need to continue working on this for next meeting

Profiles

• Lower priority than schema/primer, postponed to after release.

Board members

• We could do a more directed approach towards users moving into METS2 implementation.
• PREMIS had a good return on their last call, might be worth it (also to expand to regions/groups not currently represented in the Board).
• Karen will prepare a separate email account
• LoC website page on EB description and requirements should be reviewed.
