Review revised proposal for changes to SIGMET and necessary follow up actions

There is a new email list: [email protected]. It currently includes emails from old google group and you can view all conversations at https://groups.wmo.int/tt-avdata/. You may need to login to see archive. ACTION: update the GitHub readme files.
Version 2021-2 in the MoC will be simplified. It will only have 3 sections: scope, resources, versions. It will not longer list all of the schema packages.
Ideas on improved workflow for branch management. It will be refined for further discussion in upcoming meetings.

Choy's proposal is "dirty", but it might work.
Jan Korosi will provide some examples to improve the representation within one week.
Mark will check with colleagues at NCAR.
Enrico mentioned that he will be more comfortable with a minor change.
Choy reminded that a slight change in the TAC template could induce a significant change in the information model of IWXXM as what we are facing right now. The information model of the current version of SIGMET is not generic enough to stay away from such changes. We need to strike a balance between elegance of the model and conformance to the TAC template.

Next meeting is scheduled for June 24 of June. Review outcome of PC and determine final activities for FT approval process. Enrico mentioned if SIGMET is ready include it in the FT2021-2 release.
Dirk wanted to know when SIGWX need to be produced. Choy mentioned that WAFCs would not be producing SIGWX Forecast in IWXXM form until Nov 2023. Before that there will be operational trial which was likely to commence in 2022. Fine tuning of the instances (see this discussion for one of them) may happen during the operational trial period especially for those phenomena like TC and VA that no examples had ever been produced by WAFCs.
