Toughbook

The Toughbook is our field laptop that is more durable and has more ports than conventional Olin laptops. The exact model of the one we purchased is the "Panasonic Toughbook CF-53 Rugged Laptop, Intel i5-2520M 2.5GHz, 16GB RAM, 500GB SSD, Win 10, Touchscreen" (Amazon link). It currently has a dual boot with Windows and Ubuntu 16 with ROS Kinetic.
- Error: No WiFi showing up
- Check to see that the physical WiFi switch is "on" (on right side of the laptop)
- Reboot the Toughbook (might take a few attempts)
- Error: WiFi is too slow
- This is actually a problem with the router on-board the tractor. When this happens, just use an Ethernet cable to connect to the tractor and hope the slowness goes away (it typically does after ~10 mins).
