Theme Library
In the geoportal context, a 'theme' refers to the color, banner, images, and styling scheme used throughout the geoportal user interface. See Look and Feel of the User-Interface for instructions on how to update the geoportal UI, and how to apply a theme.
This topic provides a gateway for themes users have provided, and info on how to contribute a theme.
The process to contribute a theme is similar to the process to contribute a patch. After developing and testing your theme, zip the named theme folder and upload it with a description to the Geoportal Server sourceforge Patches page. Make sure to include in the description the Geoportal Version with which your theme is compatible. The geoportal development team will test your theme to verify that it is compatible, and if so, mark it as 'Accepted'. The theme will then be added as a download from this page.
In addition to the red and blue themes that are distributed with the default geoportal web application, the following themes are available for you to download and work from. You should choose a theme that is compatible - or closely compatible - with your geoportal version.
