Ships

Combat ships:

  • Uboat .. very small, can dive. Stealthy. Can lay mines or sink enemy ships with torpedos.
  • Uboat-tanker.. medium. can dive, Stealthy. Can (limited) resupply and refuel other uboats.
  • Corvette ... very small, slow warship. Submarine hunter. Minimal armor, minimal armament, mainly waterbombs.
  • Frigate ... small warship, stronger armed and armored than a Corvette. Has anti-sub, anti-ship and anti-air capacity.
    • Torpedo-Boat ... small, very fast warship armed with Torpedo and light guns.
    • Mine-clearer ... specialist boat to clear enemy mines
  • Destroyer ... fast very fast warship, can use guns to battle smaller ships and can use torpedos to engange bigger ships. Has anti-sub and anti-air capacity
  • Cruiser ... big, very fast fast warship. Has anti-sub and anti-air capacity and can out-gun other ships. except battleships. The cruiser is faster and cheaper than a battleship, but less armored and less armed. Cruisers excel at scouting and speed. Can carry a limited amount of scout planes.
  • Battleships ... big, fast warship. Can out-gun every other ship with it's naval guns. Has anti-sub and anti-air capacity but focus on guns. Battleships have the strongest armor of all ships. Can carry a limited amount of scout planes.
  • Aircraft carrier (optional?) ... limited anti-air and anti-sub defense, big and fast like a cruiser/battleship. Carriers planes:
    • Scout planes
    • Fighters : have very limited anti-ship capacity but excel at defending against enemy planes or protecting friendly planes
    • Dive bombers: Combat enemy ships / subs / land facilties
    • Torpedo bombers: Combat enemy ships

Support ships:

  • Tanker (refuels other ships)
  • Repair ship (unarmed, has limited repair capacity)
  • Cargo ship (can resupply other ships or transport troops)
