Q1: Should there be guest users on the platform?
A1: There should be guest users. They shall search the site however, they have limited access to content. Guest user should find an answer to the "Why should I sign up?" question.

A2: There is no need for company/institute accounts.

Q3: What are the main differences between a paper and a project?
A3: Papers are short term works on the other hand, projects are long term works. Projects involves milestones, business packages, deadlines. Since projects has more steps, process management is an integral part of it. During the project, process may lead to papers as well.

Q4: Can a registered user both collaborate on someone else's paper/project and post paper/project topic for other registered users to collaborate on?
A4: User shall both collaborate on someone else's paper/project and post paper/project topic for other registered users to collaborate on.

Q5: Who should be able to comment on users' profiles ?
A5: Only the ones that are worked with a user, shall comment on his/her profile.
Choose: User shall be able to comment; after project completed, or when the collaboration is started.

Q6: Who should be able to see that a paper/project is in progress ?
A6: There shall be stated they are not taking collaborators anymore. Collaborators and project shall be seen, however; details about the paper, files, and code shall not be seen.
Alternatively: Post creator shall be able to decide those.

Q7: When a registered user requests to join a team of authors to collaborate on a paper/project, should the system automatically decide whether the collaborator is qualified or not according to the requirements of the paper/project or should it be handled by the owner of the paper/project topic?
A7: It shall be handled by the owner of the paper/project. There shall be a recommendation mechanism. User may state whether he/she is looking for a project to collaborate.

A8: Comments shall not be able to deleted however they shall be able to be made private.

Q11: It is both OK to have open deadline or sprint deadline.

A12: No, a registered user shall not be able to delete a paper/project that is in progress.

Q13: Should a registered user be able to edit the specifications of a paper/project that is in progress?
A13: If there will be a modification, all collaborators should be notified. There will be a voting process about the modification, and if there is a consensus modification is accepted.

A14: It should be decided by the team.

A16: No, inactive state of the project should be stated by tags instead of by getting deleting from the system.

A17: Yes, there should be a user, unrelated tag, and project report system.
