This EFI is for Sequoia only, Sonoma and older do not need an updated EFI as everything works in them and I suggest anyone that uses some of the iCloud integration we get with Intel wifi/bluetooth to stay on Sonoma or older.
This EFI requires another app to connect to a wireless network. Once this is no longer needed the EFI will be updated again to support the other versions of macOS too but default to a Sequoia installation.
Please download HeliPort to connect to a wifi, you can press alt + click the icon to get some extra options like autostart. The latter didn't work for me so I manually added it to the startup programs.
If bluetooth isn't working please reset nvram before opening an issue.
In order to open HeliPort or any other unsigned/approved by Apple app in Sequoia simply right clicking isn't enough anymore, you also have to open the settings app and go to security and allow the apps and enter your password. I wonder when Appel will disallow any app installations they didn't approve. See screenshot below.
