The latest version of Cypress can now handle tests of components.

  • This seems liks a viable way forward, since enzyme tests are not compatible with React 17 / 18

My comments:

  • I have already implemented this upgrade and managed to get it to work locally
  • there is still a need to upgrade to the latest node version on our CI setup, in order to implement this upgrade there
