12. rTMS Interventions

rTMS Interventions function of BEST Toolbox can be used to send pulse trains or Bursts to the TMS device depending upon its current mode.

Setting Stimulation Parameters

  1. Output Device: Select the output device using drop down menu from previously added devices
  2. Intervention Type: Choose Train or Burst from drop down menu depending upon the mode of your simulator or requirement of your protocol
  3. Pulse Frequency: No of pulses per second e.g. 3
  4. No of pulses per Train: Total no of pulses in each train e.g. 5
  5. No of Trains: Total no of train trials e.g. 15
  6. Stimulation Intensities: Row vector of stimulation intensities conditions e.g. [40 50 60 70 80]
  7. Inter Train Interval: ITI scalar, or a range in seconds e.g. 4 or [4 6]

Starting the Measurement

To start a particularly filled measurement, just press the "Run" button. The measurement can be stopped, paused/unpaused and some of the editable parameters can be updated on the runtime.
