`sshuttle` actually has a wealth of additional functionalities, you can further refer to its man-page.

## Gsocket

[Global Socket](https://www.gsocket.io) allows two workstations on different private networks to communicate with each other. Through firewalls and through NAT - like there is no firewall.

### Simple port forwarding

Forward the TCP connection to `workstation` on port 8080 to the remote network to host 192.168.1.1 port 80.

```bash
# Host on the remote network
gs-netcat -s AnySecretChangeMe -l -d 192.168.1.1 -p 80 #-D
```

```bash
# Your workstation
gs-netcat -s AnySecretChangeMe -p 8080 #-D
# Test the connection
curl -v http://127.0.0.1:8080
```

### Dynamic port forwarding

```bash
# Host on the remote network
gs-netcat -s AnySecretChangeMe -l -S #-D
```

```bash
# Your workstation
gs-netcat -s AnySecretChangeMe -p 1080 #-D
# Test the socks connection
curl -x socks5h://0 ipinfo.io
```

The `-D` switch can be used to start gs-netcat in the background.

## Redsocks

Sets a TCP-to-proxy redirector through ssh.
