Originally we thought it was valuable for DEAP to adhere to the steps in the QuidProQuo paper as closely as possible in order to make it easier to compare DEAP and QuidProQuo side by side.
We now realize that DEAP will require its own formal treatment, so this PR removes the redundant steps inherited from QuidProQuo.
