My name is T E Vaughan, and I'm based in South West London. My career began at Apple, where I worked within the EMEIA regions. I then transitioned to broadcast production, collaborating with renowned studios and a range of clients including Audible, the BBC, and Google.
Living in Sweden, I became fluent in the language and worked on award-winning advertising campaigns for clients such as Ogilvy One in Beijing.
I have developed proficiency in various programming languages, such as Golang, Perl, Python, and Rust, applying these skills to support community projects and in my typeface design work, particularly projects like Wumpus Mono.
Currently, I run a net infrastructure consultancy with a specialised focus on Open Search and Machine Learning. I'm on–staff at the Common Crawl Foundation and a working–group volunteer at MLCommons.
The username "underwood", which I use on most platforms, reflects my admiration for jazz (influenced by Ruth Underwood of the Mothers of Invention), and my obsession with typewriters.
