Getting involved

The following are significant (3+ week part-time work) projects that are a good basis for getting started with the codebase.

• Build a GUI for working with MacroBase's time-series operators
• Build a GUI for more easily labeling data
• Feedback on query results: "show me more / less like this"
• Provide a visualization for KDE results and regions, segmenting by different dimensions
• Build a Python wrapper for MacroBase pipelines
• Integrate with Heron, Storm, or RxJava
• Implement subspace clustering to summarize continuous attributes
• Build a pipeline to identify interesting streaming video feeds (e.g., on Periscope)
• Build a pipeline to identify interesting images (e.g., in the Sloan Digital Sky Survey)
