Hi,
I am a scientific software engineer and a PhD student at the University of Edinburgh. I am passionate about making novel statistical and machine learning methods accessible to the scientific community with a special interest for biomedical applications.
I am both a leader and a contributor to various open source projects, in particular within the boundaries of the Julia language ecosystem:
- TarGene : I am the creator and lead developper of the TarGene software. TarGene is a Nextflow pipeline enabling the estimation of causal effects in population genetics using Targeted Learning (#GWAS, #PheWAS).
- MLJ: I am dedicated to both improving core components of the main machine-learning framework in Julia and contributing new models.
- TMLE.jl: I created TMLE.jl to provide scalable double robust non-parametric estimation of causal estimands to a broad audience.
You can learn more about my current work here.
Thank you for your support!
