The version lists in README.rst and setup.py also need updating.

(Is it really expected to include individual Python 3.x versions in the classifier list like this? That seems a clumsy approach...)

Yeah, it's clumsy. There isn't a better mechanism that I know of.
Many projects just don't declare them in that much detail...
