This repository contains some settings and configs which I personally use.

Karabiner-Elements

karabiner/functional-keys.json – rules config for Karabiner-Elements application. Used in order to make the functional keys F1..F12 (for non-apple keyboards) to behave as media keys with exceptions for some applications: PHPStorm, Sublime, Visual Studio Code, iTerm2 etc.

Usage

1. Install Karabiner-Elements app: brew install --cask karabiner-elements
2. Open URL karabiner://karabiner/assets/complex_modifications/import?url=https://raw.githubusercontent.com/sauron918/configs/main/karabiner/functional-keys.json press "Import" and restart the app.
