Unfortunately this update is useless. Camera still hangs, so it does not fix anything. Sorry.

It may be helpful for you to experiment with the parameters passed to snx-rtsp-server. See issue #61. If the camera runs hot, you may be running into a hardware issue that could be pinpointed by lowering the demands on the camera. Also - try a new power supply.

This just reduce the image quality, I personally didn't have issue with the current settings.

The default settings lower the stress on the box. Others have noted it gets hot. I checked and at high resolution with constant streaming with IR, my thermal scanner shows 120 Deg F. Hypothesis is that something in the HW causes the process to fail. With above settings, I get 105 Deg F. That may be just enough to keep it going. It is NOT designed for this purpose, so it is logical that constrant streaming may stress the camera beyond specification.
