Add Production Mode (w/ v1alpha2)

In the current setting, operator provisions environments (ROS 2) in development mode by default. Users/Companies make their software running using LaunchManager or background processes.

A production mode is needed with the configuration below:

In the current setting, operator provisions environments (ROS 2) in development mode by default. Users/Companies make their software running using LaunchManager or background processes.

A production mode is needed with the configuration below:

  • ROS 2 Bridge will be used to visualize ROS 2 topics in the client end.
  • Discovery Server will be used to connect nodes in different workloads.
  • Persistency (Storage)
    • Workspaces will be persisted.
    • Chosen paths will be persisted.
    • OS configuration will NOT be persisted.
  • Code editor will NOT be included in cloud.
  • Remote desktop (VDI) will NOT be included.
  • Notebook will NOT be included.
  • Remote IDE will be used to connect hybrid robot's environment.
