interniq features, blazing browser, many improvements and fixes

This release prepares engon for our new asset pack interniq and improves many existing elements.
Browsing assets is several orders faster, we have fixed many of the most frequently reported issues across Blender versions and slipped
in several upgrades.

📈 Improvements

  • Report duplicate addon installations in preferences and in top of the panel
  • Empty sizes are preserved when converting to editable

  • Sizes of empties are adjusted based on dimensions of the asset when spawning
  • Informative message to refresh packs when packs are discovered but unregistered
  • Added confirmation dialog when removing all search paths
  • Snap to ground reports message if there are ground objects
  • Browser now displays number of displayed assets
  • Engon now accepts semantically split features - allowing us to create features for all assets in the future
  • Spawned material sphere (when no object was selected) is now named based on the material

🔧 Bugfixes

  • Removing scatter removes it from the selected object only
  • Assets with auto smooth enabled don't disappear after converting to editable in Blender 4.1 and above
  • Convert to editable no longer fails if there are property groups from other addons
  • Filters are refreshed correctly after a new pack is installed when the browser was previously opened
  • All icons for asset packs should now be always loaded
  • Exiting Blender with our browser open no longer produces error in the console
  • Geometry nodes modifier are made local when converting to editable so the modifier is not lost on file reload

🚦traffiq 2.1 and more!

This release includes support for emergency lights for traffiq 2.1, adding new features and improving existing ones.

Now it is possible to ✏️ draw geometry nodes assets directly from engon browser. You can see 🆕 what is new in installed asset packs. Adjust 🚨emergency lights directly from the panel, 📃List through assets by version based on introduced_in parameter (currently supported for traffiq, other packs will have this feature enabled once updated). It is possible to have 🔧 preferences and engon browser open simultaneously. You can add models directly to 🌿particle systems from the browser.

The release includes fix to car animation baking and fix for animating scattered objects and many smaller tweaks and quality of life changes⭐.

Blender 4.1 compatibility
