Matida App

Introduction

This tutorial provides the basic steps to develop and deploy Matida apps in React Native environment.

Development and Deployment Steps

Step 1: Prepare the Environment

  1. Install Node.js: Ensure that you have Node.js installed on your computer. You can download the latest version from the official Node.js website.

  2. Install React Native CLI: Use npm to install the React Native CLI by running the following command in Terminal or Command Prompt:

npm install -g react-native-cli
  1. Install Android Studio (for Android) or Xcode (for iOS): Make sure you have installed one of these IDEs depending on the platform you want to develop for.

Step 2: Configure Project Dependencies

  1. Install project dependencies by running the following command in the project directory:
yarn
  1. Install postinstall
yarn postinstall 
  1. Install pod IOS
cd ios && pod install && cd ..

Step 3: Develop the App

  1. Open your preferred code editor or IDE and navigate to the project directory.

  2. Start the development server by running the following command in the project directory:

npx react-native start

or

yarn start

after

// For Android:
npx react-native run-android
or
yarn android

// For IOS:
npx react-native run-ios
or 
yarn ios

Step 4: Build and Deploy

  1. Generate the release build of the app by running the following command:
  • For Android:
//apk
yarn android-apk
//aab
yarn android-aab
  • For IOS:
  1. Sign the app with the appropriate certificates and provisioning profiles for each platform.

  2. Publish the app to the respective app stores (Google Play Store for Android and App Store for iOS) by following the respective guidelines and requirements.

  3. Monitor the app's performance and user feedback post-deployment. Continuously update and maintain the app to address any issues or feature requests.
