To-Do

  • NDoCH on September 21
  • Repurposing need of app to define and complete MVP
  • City to discuss feasibility of implementing City-facing features
  • Need security
  • Define system roles based on type of organization
  • Half-day or full-day of gathering requirements
    • User research
    • New user stories
      • Who are the personas in the system? What can they do?

Notes

  • Even with new strategy/direction on economic development, focus of platform is still neighborhood/place-based
    • What does success look like? What is different w/ emphasis on PBIDs?
    • City needs to define what neighborhood economic development means, input from residents and businesses
  • How will other departments participate in platform? Focusing on economic development helps restrict the universe of departments involved in the early testing/implementation.
  • Not all corridors have a PBID associated with them, so in those cases we would be relying on neighborhood associations.
    • Landlords are less interested than business owners in creating new PBIDs
  • MVP needs "round trip" lifecycle, including City responses
    • MVP defined by City
  • PBIDs and NAs need to be able to post priorities for the same neighborhood

Potential Features

  • Geography model has_many organizations
  • Allow linking of organizations (via Geography?)
  • Directory of neighborhoods
