Hey Olli! I made some changes over at my fork to improve the performance a little bit, so I’m opening this PR in case you want to merge them. The first change refrains from drawing whenever the Hand tool or Text tool are active, which greatly improves performance when panning around. The second change opens a new tab with the collected layers directly, preventing the previous two-step process (drawing the text then switching layers). Cheers!
