Error 403 in license link when building docs on CI

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
We started getting an error 403 for the license link in the docs when building the docs in CI.

This didn't happen locally on my mac.

We decided to ignore the link for now, but to open this issue in case we need to face this more directly in the future.

Describe the solution you'd like
Not sure this is the solution we'd like but it is what we tried:

We explored spoofing the user agent as suggested here but that didn't do the trick (see attempt here). Neither did the more general approach using fake-useragent (see here)

Also tried with equivalent variants of the URL (e.g. https://opensource.org/licenses/BSD-3-Clause), which had no effect either.

Describe alternatives you've considered
We may encounter this more times in the future, so this issue is mostly to keep a record of what we tried.
