Everything and the kitchen sink
Include all the things!
This is the point where I got everything I could think of included, along with lots of custom icons, sensors, entity pictures, etc. Figure this is a good place to start.
Big points
- Hass.io running on RPi3b
- Aeotec Z-Stick usb module
- 4 z-wave switches included
- SmartThings Hub - integrated via Mosquitto mqtt broker and SmartThingsBridge add-ons
- Simple automations migrated from SmartThings
- NMap - for scanning my home network and getting device statuses
- Including customized sensors that say "online/offline" instead of "home/not home"
- Climate control (including home/away automation) for Nest Thermostat
- TTS to Google Homes to get family out of the house in the morning
- Chromecasts + Google Home controls
- Tracking 2 Android devices via OwnTracks, including map cards and "Drive Times", plus device battery levels
- Zigbee sensors and outlets monitored/controlled thru SmartThings/MQTT
To Do:
Organize everything! This is my "include everything" release. Next will be after everything has been weeded out. Do I really need to see that DarkSky knows that today's Daily Max Precip Intensity is 0.0383 in? Or that my Google Wifi's firmware version is 9765.65.2? No. Great iformation to have, but I don't need to SEE it in the frontend.
