Hi there, welcome to my sparkling GitHub profile! (∩`-´)⊃━☆゚.*・。゚

If you're not here by chance, let me guide you through what this page has to offer: ᕕ( ◎_◎)ᕗ

🏆 Some shiny trophies, 💌 a Love Declaration, 🛠️ a few cool demos and 📊 some not-so-boring stats

If you'd like more details about my professional background, feel free to check out my CV.
As for my personal website, it’s admittedly a bit outdated at the moment. I’m working on rewriting it in HTMX + Go—it’s going to be amazing!

Anyway, thanks for incrementing this (✌゚∀゚)☞ visitors badge

a Love Declaration

꒰ღ˘‿˘ற꒱❤⃛

Let me start with a bit about my journey: I earned an MSc in Physics in 2018, during which I discovered my deep passion for learning—and my newfound love for coding.

  • Here's my scientific publication, based on my graduation thesis.
  • And a collection of C code I wrote while exploring simulations and algorithms during my studies.

After graduating, I decided to transition into software development, where I found my second love: Java (though my first love will always be C).

  • Feel free to explore my Java repositories.
  • Oh, and if you’re a Magic: The Gathering fan, don’t miss XMage, an open-source app I proudly contribute to.

For the past six years, I’ve been dedicating my efforts to supporting the customer care systems of a major Italian telecommunications and broadband company. But my curiosity has never been content to sit still. In the early years, I focused on mastering Java, but in 2023, I ventured into the world of ML and Data Science through a bootcamp. It was the perfect opportunity to reconnect with Python and explore the vast field of data analysis and forecasting.

It was a fascinating experience, and I’d love to keep working in that space. But my restless spirit soon turned to my third love: Go, which became my focus throughout 2024.

  • Take a look at my Go repositories. I know, they’re still few in number, but my head is full of ideas—I can’t wait to bring them to life and share them with you!

Meanwhile, Java has been transforming into a much more dynamic, performant, and powerful language than it used to be. It’s been exciting to witness its evolution firsthand. Where this polyamorous journey will lead, I can’t say for sure, but one thing is certain: my enthusiasm and curiosity will never waver.

Oh, and speaking of new loves—do you know HTMX? I think I’m about to fall head over heels again.

Java Skills Assessment Spring Boot Microservice REST API Maven Docker

A Spring Boot-based REST API project that I created to ace a technical interview—and guess what? It worked, I got the offer! 🎉 This project showcases custom validation handling for a dynamic item packing algorithm, seamlessly integrating the Bean Validation API and Docker for hassle-free deployment. 🚀

Java HTML Skills Assessment Spring Boot REST API Freemarker MVC Architecture Gradle

A web application and REST API built with Java and Spring Boot for sharing and exploring code snippets. 🖋️ This was purely a practice project—just me, some caffeine, and a desire to level up my skills! ☕ It features a sleek web interface and programmatic access through the API for those who like to tinker under the hood. 🔧

Java JavaScript HTML CSS Skills Assessment Web Application Fullstack Application Spring Boot WebSocket STOMP Protocol REST Gradle

The most classic "get started" project ever: a real-time web chat application. 💬 Built as a way to dive into full-stack development, this project helped me explore just how deep the rabbit hole goes when you decide to tinker with JavaScript. 🐇⚡ Spoiler alert: it’s darker and twistier than you think! Featuring Spring Boot on the backend, WebSocket magic for real-time updates, and a front-end built with HTML, CSS, and, of course, JavaScript.

Python Jupyter Notebook Libraries: NumPy Libraries: Pandas Libraries: Matplotlib Libraries: Sci-Kit Learn Models: KNN Models: Random Forest Models: XGBoost Evaluation Metrics

A Jupyter notebook crafted as the grand finale for the Data Science and Machine Learning course at Neural Academy. 🎓 It was an exciting dive into data analysis, visualization, and supervised learning techniques to evaluate credit financial risk—using this fascinating dataset. 📊 A challenging yet rewarding experience that sharpened my skills and boosted my confidence in the field! 🚀
(And yes, I know—it could use some cleanup and polish. One day I'll get to it... maybe. 😅)
