My name is Lucas, I'm from ๐ง๐ทBrazil and you can use he/him pronouns with me ๐
I've been a developer since 2015, starting with C
, which transitioned to C#
/.NET
for most of my career. After a while I started transitioning to other languages and currently have relevant working experience with Python
and Java
.
Throughout these languages, I dabbled with some different tech, such as MongoDB
, MySQL
, MS SQL Server
, Docker
, Kubernetes
, SpringBoot
, Swagger
, REST
ful APIs, Flask
/PythonEVE
, SonarQube
and the list goes on and on...
Regarding โ๏ธCloud Services, I messed around a lot on Azure, from good ol' VMs to AKS, even involving the entire CI/CD pipeline using Azure DevOps while integrating with a plethora of Microsoft services and some third party like Sonarqube itself. Within that period I managed to get the AZ900 certificate from Microsoft as well. With less extent I also dabbled with AWS while working with Java and Python.
Needless to say I am a firm advocate for clean code and good practices, and I always aim to write clean, highly maintainable code with plenty of documentation to go along.
TL;DR:
Currently I provide freelance services with my own company Palavrinha, with experiences including but not limited to working with foreign companies from ๐ฉ๐ชGermany and the ๐บ๐ธUSA
I'm currently learning more about microservices and aiming to improve my docker and kubernetes skills, as it is one of the areas I have the most interest.
I also kinda enjoy writing articles on DEV.to
I'm always open to collaborating with open source projects if within my grasp, and I always check my own repositories for issues and PRs :)
Let's be fair: yes, I enjoy programming and I could talk about good practices and clean code for a while, but I also have outside hobbies. I am very passionate about ๐ธphotography and I am a ๐ฎgamer at heart, so if you want to spend the eternity talking, hit me up with some Warcraft questions!
You can always reach me on my institutional email, here or on my LinkedIn
