Problem Statement

Opening this on behalf of a customer:

"I'd like to prevent configuring fixed tags in our custom helm values but have to overwrite the used image registries to pull these over a corporate image mirror."

Solution Description

"In the helm templates (https://github.com/kubecost/cost-analyzer-helm-chart/blob/v2.1.1/cost-analyzer/templates/forecasting-deployment.yaml#L45-L50) theres a option to use the appVersion as tag value but using this i'm doomed to directly pull from the official registry.

Can we have something similar here like its build for the other images? Optionally set up registry, tag etc?

Troubleshooting

  • I have read and followed the issue guidelines and this is a feature request only for the Helm chart.
  • I have searched other issues in this repository and mine is not recorded.
