mwm.ltx: Musikwissenschaft mit LaTeX

a self referential review and tutorial about musicology in LaTeX, written in German

This project delivers the sources and make-files to compile a LaTeX based tutorial how to successfully use methods of the musicology in a LaTeX document. It reviews the given tools and explains their use by referring to its own code.

Here are the details you need to participate in the development

Prerequisites

• A LaTeX system
• MusiXTeX
• Lilypond
• ABC
• PMX
• bash
• make

If you need further information to prepare your system, please have look at the sub chapters of chapter 1 and 2 in a compiled version: They describe what they need to be compiled.

Build

• Download or clone the repository
• Change into the main directory
• open a shell and type make

Modifications

• Download or clone the repository mwm.ltx
• For improving the content modify the files in mwm.ltx/sources/snippets
• For reorganizing the structure modify the files in mwm.ltx/sources
