You can get a .zip package when compeleting downloading. Then, extract it to get .msi file. Double click the extracted file to install Spire.DocViewer for .NET step by step.
During installing, Spire.DocViewer controls will be added in Visual Stuido Toolbox automatically. If you are using Visual Studio right now, a dialog box will pop up to inform you to shutdown all running instances of Visual Studio and Retry or Cancel witout Spire.DocViewer controls added. And after installing, you can use the shortcut "Add Controls into VS Toolbox".
Before coding, you need to use the appropriate dlls in your project.
If you have been created your project, right click project name to add reference. Click Browse tab and choose Bin directroy of Spire.Doc folder. Then, choose Spire.DocViewer.Forms.dll in NET2.0/NET3.5/NET4.0/NET4.0 ClientProfile folder.
And you can learn result of realized functions of Spire.PDFViewer for .NET by running demos. There are two method to run these demos.
- Open the appropriate solution file (.sln) in CS or VB folder under WinFormDemos directory to get all projects this package has. To run the specified project, right click project name (for example Open) → Debug → Start new instance. And then the result will be shown.
- Open WinFormDemos folder → CS/VB folder → Specified directory (for example DocDocumentViewer) → Specified Project folder (for example Export) → Open project (.csproj) → Debug → Start Debugging or Press F5.
