Calculate market caps history

Many analysts use the last trading day of each year to calculate yearly market cap snapshots. This ensures a consistent reference point and reflects end-of-year valuations. Other methods include averaging across each year or using the first trading day, but the closing price on December 31 (or the final trading session) is most common.
