There should be a bright green button that says code. If you click on it, there should be an option to download a zip file. Unzip the downloaded zip on open the cmsc389i folder in your favorite editor.
The downside to this method is that there is code all of the projects share in the test folder at cmsc398/tests. Every time you download a zip, you’ll get a new copy of this extra code and its big (~2 mb).
If you decide to do this, move ur project code over to the older folder to the newer folder whenever you redownload.
You need git installed. This was not mentioned in the class setup. however if you finished that there is a 90% you have git. If not, you can run sudo apt install git
