Update from old release
Since the new aerOS updater isn't pre-installed, you will need to install it manually.
To install it, download aeros-update-prepare
from the Assets
section below.
Do not download the source code, or use the download link above.
After you've downloaded it, run chmod +x aeros-update-prepare
where you downloaded the file, then run it with sudo ./aeros-update-prepare
.
This will install the aerOS update app and then it will prompt you to run it to update aerOS.
Note: aerOS Updater is only supported for aerOS v1.1 and above.

This build fixes some minor problems with aerOS such as sound not working, and adds a safe graphics option for unsupported GPUs.

Bugs
This build has the Calamares installer checkbox for "Not prompting for the password on login", however it doesn't work because of the lack of sddm
and the usage of GNOME's gdm
login manager. We're looking for a solution to remove that checkbox from the Calamares installer.
