Connect to an NB Database hosted at MIT

This documentation helps you connect to an NB database hosted at MIT. We will use DataGrip as a client, but you can use any client you prefer.

Prerequisite:

• MIT VPN
• SSH access to the server hosting the database
• DataGrip (As a student or teacher you can apply for the free educational licenses)

Steps

1- Create a new connection

2- Configure the DB connection

• Database User
• Database Password
• Database Name

3- Configure the Server Tunnel

4- Add SSH configuration

After testing the configuration, you should see this message

5- Test the Database connection

6- Access the Database
