We would like to store the version.txt file as an artifact so we can reproduce builds accurately. Currently the version.txt file is stored during the CI process in the cache only.

There will be two major steps to completing this issue:

  • Store version.txt as an artifact
  • Fetch version.txt from remote to use during the CI process (will require changing workflow implementation)
