- Clone or download this repository to your local machine.
- Open Google Chrome and navigate to
chrome://extensions/. - Enable "Developer mode" in the top right corner.
- Click on "Load unpacked" and select the folder containing the downloaded repository files.
- The extension will now appear in your Chrome extensions list, and you can start using it with WhatsApp Web.
- Open any chat or group chat.
- As you receive messages, the ChatGPT-powered answer suggestions will appear below the input field.
- Click on a suggestion to automatically populate the input field with the suggested text.
- Modify the text if needed and send your message as usual.
Note that this extension sends part of the chat-history to openai. It warns the user for this, since it is not as secure as end-to-end encryption that WhatsApp normally employs.
