Welcome to the carbon-c-relay wiki!

This project emerged out of a need for a more scalable and flexible graphite metrics routing solution. The original carbon-relay.py is a great piece of software, but doesn't quite cut it once the number of metrics per second rises. Secondly, it is limited in operating in two modes only, which for modern requirements are insufficient.

While the README contains information about how to configure carbon-c-relay, this wiki aims to document the why. Use cases, tips and tricks.
