The NKI-Rockland Sample

Enhanced Nathan Kline Institute - Rockland Sample. A Model for Accelerating the Pace of Discovery Science in Psychiatry.

Description: Large-scale (N > 1000) community sample of participants across the lifespan. Measures include a wide array of physiological and psychological assessments, genetic information, and advanced neuroimaging. Ages (ages 6-85 years old): Sample characteristics, imaging protocol.

  • Phase I: 250 pilot
  • Phase II: Introduction of multiband inspired by HCP; A key innovation of the second phase NKI-RS is the implementation of fast repetition time (0.645 and 1.4 s TR) and high-resolution (3 and 2 mm isotropic voxels) multiband R-fMRI (10 min per scan)

Raw data:

  • N = 1334 | BIDS: 1.0.0 | No fMRI prep

Phenotypic data:

Notes:

“TR = 645msec (3mm isotropic voxels, 10 minutes) to provide optimal temporal resolution and another with TR = 1400msec (2mm isotropic voxels, 10 minutes) to provide optimal spatial resolution. A standard EPI sequence (TR = 2500msec, 3mm isotropic voxels, 5 minutes) is included also for reference.”
