Standard Retail Pricing

This is about using the Standard Retail Pricing feature of Fannie (CORE-POS). The basic characteristics of it:

  • Uses price (cost from the store's point of view) information from vendors, ideally supplied in digital format
  • A hierarchical scheme of desired margins
  • A set of price-rounding rules

to create a set of Standard Retail Prices that can be applied to items by means of a Price Change Batch. The idea is to automate as much of the process as possible while making it easy for the buyer to fine-tune the changes before making them live.
