PR #132 discussion:
- is read only ok for unified API?
- dask arrays will be padded using their current lazy interface
- zarr will use the experimental view API in read-only mode.
- check if @jordao did report zarr bug upstream.
- writing non-5-dimensional arrays will not be supported by the unified API.
