Wouldn't it be better to move down the value, so it doesn't conflict with the arrows?

(Yes, I know that the standard library transistors also do it that way, but it should be fixed there too in my opinion.)

Also, aren't all phototransistors bipolar? I'd rename "Bipolar Photo Transistor" to just "Phototransistor" (without the space), but maybe add PNP/NPN to the name (maybe both variants). From Wikipedia:

npn-pnp

Additionally, the designators should probably hidden in the component.

Last issue, should we also add the "Transistors, Thyristors" category to the phototransistors?

Ah, and why not a PR against LibrePCB_Base.lplib? Would be useful there 🙂

These get horribly long to be merged 😉 But it is the final plan, yes.

I actually had it first that way, but then was not sure anymore if it is true.

Edit:
There are Solaristors which are kind of similar to phototransistors.

Also from https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photodiode

But a photosensitive FET would be called "Photo-FET" and not "Photo-Transistor FET", right? A "MOSFET" is also called "MOSFET" and not "Transistor MOSFET".
