From the repository root, run:
conda env create -f environment.yml
conda activate LS_metrics
Note that access to DHS data must be requested separately, on this site:

The rest of the data can be automatically downloaded, by running:
make download_data
Follow the order indicated in the names of the notebooks: 0-1-2-3 (see prefix).
