Auto-open video window on load (recommended off or local files only)
This does exactly what it says. If there is a Video Link in a opened project, it will auto-open the video window when you open the project.
Also show hex data for strings (recommended off)
Does what it says, if enabled will also show hex data for string in the Field Grid View for engines that support it.
Default Credits Name
Here you can enter a custom name to be used when you are creating new Packet Rule data. If you leave this field blank, your current logged in usesrname of your PC will be used. You can still edit the Credits at a later point, this setting is just to help you fill it in more easy.
Packet List Style
In this grid you can click on the colored button to change the colors used in the Packet List. This should be pretty straightforward what color is used for what, except maybe the synced values. Synced is related to the packet sync value of packets, where packets with the same sync (send at the same time) will be marked together by a bar on the right side of the list. Depending on the reader used, it might not be supported, and none of the packets will be linked.
Arrow Style
Select which style of arrows you want to see in the Packet List. Plain text, colored arrows or transparent arrows. If you customized colors, you might want to use plain text or transparent arrows for a more pleasing look.
Custom Font
The upper button on the bottom-right is the fond select button. Click it to customize the font used in the Packet List. It is recommended to use a fixed-size font for this.
Dark Mode Colors
You can press this button to fill in a per-defined dark-mode color pallet. Do note that this only applies to the Packet List, and not to the application itself (that would be handled by the OS instead)
Field Grid Colors
Here you can set text colors for fields in the Field Grid View. The colors are used in order for each parsed field. Click the button to change the color.
Number of colors
The slider sets how many different colors you want to be used for field values
