Ocular Plugin Sensor rotate menu not appearing #651

Expected Behaviour

Normal application start up. Select object. Press sensor menu. Press ALT+O sensor menu should appear

Actual Behaviour

When ALT+O pressed no sensor menu appears

Steps to reproduce

Shutdown restart, disable ocular plugin close and restart then reactivate ocular plugin close and restart. uninstall, reinstall

Actions to get Ocular plug in sensor menu to work

Select minimize/max button from lower tool bar, select maximize in upper right windows ribbon, select object, select sensor button, press ALT+O and sensor menu comes up as expected allowing sensor rotate to be conducted.
Shut system down restarted tried to activate sensor menu and did not work. Carried out above steps and sensor menu appeared.

System

  • Stellarium version: stellarium-0.18.3-win64
  • Operating system: Windows 10 pro (updates are current as of 12-Mar-2019)
  • Graphics Card: NVidia GeForce GTX 750Ti, driver version: 23.21.13.9135

Could you check the behaviour of plugin when Stellarium work in windowed mode?

I can confirm issue on Windows and cannot confirm on linux.

+ Force oculars popup to appear on Windows.
- Note however it comes with title bar and ignores night mode.

I added one line that forces the popup to appear. However it ignores night mode and comes with title bar. Not sure how to get rid of that.

@Mogwai77 how frequently you are using popup dialog (Alt+O) for switch oculars/telescopes/etc.?
