Obtaining Flux

Here is the default method of converting Redstone Dust into Flux.

Step 1: Find some Bedrock.

Step 2: Place some Obsidian above it, leaving one block space in between

Step 3: Throw some Redstone Dust in the gap left by the Bedrock & Obsidian.

Step 4: Left-click the Obsidian. The Obsidian will crush the Redstone Dust against the Bedrock and create Flux!

There is no limit to the amount of Redstone Dust you can use each time

Old Versions: Craft Flux by dropping Redstone dust into fire.

Creating a Flux Network

A basic network consists of only two blocks. A Flux Plug + Flux Point and of course blocks to send/receive energy from.

Step 1: Place a Flux Plug adjacent to a block which contains energy you want to send wirelessly.

Step 2: Right-click the Flux Plug and navigate to the Create New Network Tab and create a network.

Step 3: After creation you'll be redirected to the Network Selection Tab screen. Here you can select the network you've just created by left-clicking.

Step 4: Place a Flux Point adjacent to a block you want to receive energy wirelessly.

Step 5: Right-click the Flux Point and navigate to the Network Selection Tab and left-click the network you created earlier.

Your Done!! Energy should now be wirelessly transferred, you can view how much is being inputted and outputted either via the Network Statistics Tab or in the Home Tab of the Flux Plug and Flux Point. If it's not being transfered yet, see Troubleshooting.

Troubleshooting: No Energy Being Transferred?

  1. Are the Flux Plug and Point connected to the same network? You can check in the Network Connections Tab

  2. Are they both chunk loaded? (You can enable this in the Home Tab)

  3. Is the block adjacent to the Flux Plug set to Output?

  4. Is the block adjacent to the Flux Point set to Input?

  5. Are the Flux Point & Plug connected to the Adjacent block? If a connection isn't rendered and you've checked 3. and 4. then the block is probably incompatible with Flux Networks or on the blacklist.
