A workflow to generate neutrino interactions with the dirt is needed.
First we need to quantify the dirt pile up (number of simultaneous dirt + cryostat neutrino interactions). This can be done with current dirt flux files, without filtering interactions in the cryostat.
If pile up is negligible, use our “default” dirt workflow. Meaning, we generate a dirt sample separate from our default cryostat sample, which only has interactions outside the cryostat.
If pile up is not negligible, need to explore other options. We can either generate a single sample with interactions in the world volume, or use the flexible rock box option in genie helper.
We also need to understand if the available dirt flux files statistics is enough.
