Mario's Vacation Course 1.6.1
Mario's Vacation Course 1.4.2
- The speedrun timer now uses centiseconds instead of deciseconds (thanks devwizard for making it not crash on PJ64 1.6)
Mario's Vacation Course 1.4.1
- made the timer 32 bit instead of 64 bit so that PJ64 1.6 doesn't have a mental breakdown
Mario's Vacation Course 1.4
- ADDED AN INGAME TIMER TO SPEEDRUN MODE! This makes speedruns fair across console and emulator, since the timer accounts for lag.
- Restored the vanilla camera zoom controls (sorry)
- Fixed the texturing on the water
- You can now quickly enable the widescreen mode by holding dpad down right after selecting a file. This is in case someone wants to speedrun in widescreen mode, so that you don't need to pause the game in order to enable it.
Mario's Vacation Course 1.3
Changelog:
- Uncringed the camera for the first star (only in non-speedrun mode)
- Uncringed the camera in the lava tunnel
- Uncringed the blue coin switch
- Added the ability to change camera distance with C-Up / C-Down. You can also double tap for quick adjustments, and you can still enter first person mode.
- Luigi doesn't swear anymore. Blame streamers
- Added a fade-out effect for the water edges
- When in speedrun mode, getting the surfboard for the first time no longer triggers a dialog
- Some particles now only spawn on emulator, which makes console run better
- the cake screen renders properly now
- getting a star restores mario's health
- Fixed the fact that lives were actually still there and you could trigger a game over (lmao). Shoutouts to BenOst52 for being bad enough at the game to discover this
Compatible with:
- Real N64 (Requires expansion pak)
- ParaLLEl (Parallel Launcher / Retroarch)
- Project 64 1.6 or 2.4 with Jabo or GLideN64 (NOT LINK'S GLIDEN. The "normal" GLideN64. If you're unsure what all of this means, just use Jabo)
- If you use 2.4, please don't use the default video plugin. It renders the water wrong.
- Mupen64 (including Android)
Mario's Vacation Course 1.2
Changelog:
- Applied the Instant Input Patch which eliminates all input lag in plugins with framebuffer on
- Made Mario able to hang from ceilings from any jump
- Made the water more transparent, since people kept not noticing that there was ground under the water in some parts
- Optimised console performance
- The floating platforms now use the "No Camera Collision" floor type so they don't catch the camera all the time
- Minor graphical enhancements

Mario's Vacation Course 1.1
- Added speedrun mode (enable it by pressing L during the file select. It works even if you press L after selecting the file, as long as you're still in the file select). In this mode the game doesn't save and there's no star dance at all ("nonstop")
