8. Ingame text overlay
With this plugin you can display any pattern directly on your osu! screen. It will be visible both for you and obs(or XSplit if you use that)
Also, it is low-end PC friendly, I'm able to play with it on integrated intel HD 4600 without any noticeable performance(ms) loss
Example usages (click me)
Pattern used:
!mapartisttitle! \n!c100!x100 !c50!x50 \n!miss!xMiss \nnow:!PpIfMapEndsNow! \nfc: !ppifrestFced! \n!mods! \nx!combo! \nx!currentmaxcombo!
Pattern used:
SS:!osu_SSPP! 99:!osu_99PP! 98:!osu_98PP! 95:!osu_95PP! \n!mods!: SS:!osu_mSSPP! 99:!osu_m99PP! 98:!osu_m98PP! 95:!osu_m95pp!
Running any other overlay(steam/discord/teamspeak etc..) alongside this overlay is NOT supported and will result in a osu! crash
Due to how overlay works it is not provided in StreamCompanion setup.
- Install vcredist: https://aka.ms/vs/16/release/vc_redist.x86.exe
- Overlay has to be added to your StreamCompanion manually by installing
StreamCompanion.-.ingameOverlay.Setup.exe
from current newest release - Done, after starting SC it should be ready to go - now go to output patterns and set what you want to display!
#Pattern Editing
Any pattern set in StreamCompanion can be shown in overlay. To show it you need to enable it in pattern settings
- Shows new window where you can drag your text to correct position on virtual screen.
- Allows you to change text color in overlay
- pattern X and Y position - you can also directly edit it there
- Font to be used to display your pattern on screen
- Size of the font
Due to various things, to refresh edited pattern on osu! screen you need to:
- Save that pattern
- Change playing song in osu!
- Wait up to 5 seconds
StreamCompanion uses simple X and Y coordinate system to place your patterns on screen, where x:0 y:0 is bottom left of the screen
