Welcome to the ShockDyno wiki! I designed this software to for my home-made shock dyno. The dyno I designed was to be simple and easy to make. It uses a pneumatic cylinder for actuation and cheap Chinese sensors. I used a Measurement Computing USB-201 for my data acquisition unit and their .NET library to interface with it.

The Dyno itself uses only 2 sensors. For speed, I use a Linear Displacement Sensor. For Force readings, I'm using an 'S' type load cell. The conversion of voltage units to physical measurements is done simply through slope intercept format.
