My name Nick Liffen. I live in Reading, England. I am an architect at GitHub. Passion for Developer Experience (DevX) and DevOps. Outside of being infront of a laptop I am an avid golfer, reader and blogger.
Below lists a few of the open source projects I have been involved in. A lot of these sparked whilst working in the advanced security team at GitHub:
- Cloud Formation Linter - GitHub Action
- A utility that automates the bulk enablement of CodeQL
- A utility that automatically revokes certain secrets in GitHub
- A utility that drops code scanning alerts into Slack
- A utility that calculates MTTR in Code Scanning
- A utility that helps clean up possible unused GHAS licences
As mentioned above I love to blog, mostly around developer experience and DevSecOps. Below you can check out a few of my more recent posts:
- Why Advanced Security?
- The Importance of Developer Experience - Developer roles are evolving!
- Coordinating a multi-lambda software product
