Overall Folder Structure
There are four primary folders that are accessible to everyone on the team, each with their own purposes. Using these spaces correctly is key to ensuring that the work of our team is done well, in a reproducible manner, facilitating data sharing and efficient use of our resources.
The folders are as follows:
ci3_exposure: Data on exposure to the various studied forms of pollution (PM2.5, Ozone, etc.) from multiple sources (Monitors, Randall Martin's predictions, Qian Di's predictions) at both the annual and daily level projected on to both a 1km x 1km grid and linked to zip codes. Some additional data used to produce these predictions is also included.
ci3_confounders: This folder contains all data used to provide additional confounder information to analysis done on medicare and medicaid datasets as part of the NSAPH work. These datasets are primarily sourced from census data.
ci3_health_data: This folder contains a series of prepared analytic health datasets. Each analytic dataset is contained in a folder for its project, and may be present in multiple forms (typically explained by a readme within the folder).
ci3_analysis: This folder contains ongoing and past projects for the NSAPH team. For Users, these are the folders that work should be done in. Each directory should have its own readme file and a descriptive name indicating the work being done in the project.
